R.Maheswari B.P.T. M.I. A.P Member of Indian Association of Physiotherapy
Maheshwari is working as a senior consultant physiotherapist in Revival since Jan 2009.
Graduated in Bachelor of physiotherapy from Madras Medical college in 1993, Tamil Nadu, India.
She has been awarded as a best student in electro-therapy and neurology meantime she has successfully completed
project work on “Gait deviations” after amputations and EFFECTS OF smoking on cardio-pulmonary systems (cardiology).
During her internship she went through the training in field of rheumatology, dermatology, hand and plastic surgery obstetrics and gynecology ,
dental, ENT, neurology, orthopedics, cardiology, rehabilitations.
She started her career as an assistant professor of physiotherapy and was in charge medical research foundation
and conducted various camps during that period .
There after she joined Cheran College of Physiotherapy as a vice principal .During her career she has been assigned
as examiners several times .
Subsequently she joined Jawaharlal Nehru medical college (Karnataka) as a senior lecturer and was promoted as
assistant professor of Physiotherapy .
In Sri Lanka she started her career with Oasis hospitals and was In charge of Physiotherapy department .
At Revival she is dealing with the rehabilitation and re-education programs with the patients who are affected with
neurological conditions such as, stroke, poly neuropathy, Parkinson’s disease, cerebral and spinal disorders .She also
having personal interest in occupational therapy to improve the hand functions, postural corrections, balance exercise,
gait correction and helping the children to improve their learning, writing, understanding and behavioral skills, she
especially deals the children with cerebral palsy, infantile hemiplegia and autism.
Presently she is handling children from both local & international schools, such as British, Lyceum and Overseas.
Maheswari endeavors to use her knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to aid her patients in achieving their treatment goals.
